Chrysler is planning on adding a new vehicle to their line up by 2013. It will most likely be badged as a Dodge but it could also end up being a Ram. Currently this mini truck is called TR Ram Life Style Truck, and it will be built with a unibody platform, same one used in the Dodge Caravan (aka Chrysler Town & Country). This vehicle will definitely not be an off roader, but a simple urban vehicle with some extra utility capabilities. No engine specs or options have been released, but expect it to be heavily based on the existing Dodge Durango (see picture below), with which it bears a stricking resemblance.
Since this vehicle is still at least 2 years away from being produced, changes could possibly be made to the style of the truck, so stay tuned for the latest details. The TR Ram Life Style Truck will be manufactured in Auburn Hills, Michigan U.S.A. This is one of the vehicles that parent company Fiat, has revealed to us in a long term plan of vehicles to be introduced between now and year 2015.
