The new generation of the Suzuki Swift Sport will make its world debut at the 64th International Motor Show (IAA), which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from 13 to 25 September 2011^*1).


New Swift Sport: an evolution of Swift series' sporty flagship

The new Swift Sport is a refined sports compact and the result of the first full model change since the launch of the original Swift Sport in 2006. It has a more aggressive and dignified exterior look thanks to a ground-hugging form that gives a sense of stability and tension and a big front grille that hints at the performance within. And its cabin combines essential sportiness with a high-quality look and feel, as well as, design features that heighten the excitement about the driving experience.

Higher power and lower fuel consumption are delivered by the 1.6-litre M16A engine, which Suzuki developed exclusively for the Swift Sport. The engine is mated to a specially developed six-speed manual transmission, resulting in performance that is both exciting and environmentally responsible. Plus, the new Swift Sport offers superior cornering stability and brisker, more responsive handling thanks to struts with internal rebound springs and an exclusive rear-suspension design.

High levels of safety are assured by features such as a light, stiff, impact-absorbing body; seven airbags (including curtain airbags and a driver's knee airbag); and ESP^® (Electronic Stability Program).

BENSHEIM : July 5, 2011 - Suzuki offers its successful model SX4 now available as a special model of the same name. The SX4 "style" is based on the quality "Comfortline" and brings as standard in addition to numerous amenities including air conditioning with pollen filter and a height-adjustable leather steering wheel with an extensive safety package with six airbags, ESP and Isofix child seat attachment on the two outer rear seats. As a special highlight of the SX4 has the "style" also has a Bosch navigation system with multimedia feature, an iPod connector, a handsfree, a CD player and a Bluetooth and a USB interface. The system is controlled via a convenient steering wheel remote control. Nine stereo speakers work with an impressive soundscape. Extensive maps enable Europe lightning fast, accurate and reliable navigation.

The exclusively the SX4 "style" electrically folding exterior mirrors with integrated side blinkers reserved, which are also electrically adjustable and heated. Other distinguishing features are visible outside the decor with "style" lettering and the 16-inch alloy sports wheels (40.64 cm) on which tires in size 205/60 R16 make for sporty handling. A sophisticated metallic finish is included as standard on all "style" models.

Two economically active engine capacities that are characterized by excellent environmental properties are, for the Urban Cross Car of the Japanese small cars and four wheel specialists. The lively 1.6-liter VVT petrol engine has 120 hp (88 kW), the torquey 2.0-liter diesel engine develops 135 hp (99 kW). Both engines are equipped with a manual transmission and ensure dynamic driving values. Optional is also available for the 1.6-liter gasoline engine combined with front-wheel drive, a 4-speed automatic. The SX4 "style" is available with front or intelligent all-wheel drive i-AWD.

The price of the Suzuki SX4 "style" start at € 18 490 for the 1.6-liter gasoline engine with front wheel drive, are the 4x4 variant, from 19 990 €. As a 2.0-liter diesel will cost the SX4 "style" or € 20 490 € 21 990 (4x4). The price advantage over comparably equipped regular model is 1,000 euros.
